“We all know someone close to us who has been affected by cancer and the thought of being away from home on Christmas Day is not a very cheery one. Yet because of the work that CLAN does, those who find themselves staying at their Havens accommodation over the holidays will be treated to a delicious Christmas meal surrounded by their loved ones. We are proud to be able to do our bit to help make the festive period full of joy at what is often a very difficult time and support this outstanding charity in this excellent work,” he said.
Commenting on Kore’s involvement and donation, Ruth McIntosh, CLAN’s Fundraising Coordinator said, “The client who spend Christmas Day with us are here either because they are going through treatment themselves or are staying to be close to someone else who is. Travelling away from home for long periods of time is hard at the best of times, but to be away from home over the festive period whilst going through a difficult time is unthinkable. The Christmas meal is simply a way for us to bring a home from home comfort and make their day as special as we can. We are very grateful to Duncan and all at Kore Solutions for their contribution to making this day happen.”
